Grecian Beauty Dishcloth

Materials:
G hook
Cotton worsted weight yarn
tapestry needle

Directions:
Chain 33 (or multiple of 6 + 3)

R1: sc in 2nd chain from hook (using underside loop on chain) and every chain across. Turn.

R2: Ch3 (counts as first dc) *skip next sc, dc in next 2 sc, 1 dc in skipped sc (use this technique: yo, insert hook from front to back, yo in back of work, pull up loop, yo in front by bringing working end to front of work, continue as regular dc). Repeat from * across. End with 1 dc in last sc. Ch1, turn.

R3: Sc in first dc and across. End with 1 sc in top of turning chain of previous row. Turn.

R4: Repeat Row 2
R5: Repeat Row 3

R6: ch3, dc in BLO (back loop only) of 1st sc and all sc across. Turn.

R7: Ch1, sc across (do NOT sc into turning chain). Turn.

R8: Ch3, dc in 1st sc and across (using BOTH loops). Turn.

Repeat rows 7 and 8 FOUR times EACH.

R17: Working in FRONT LOOPS ONLY , repeat row 2.
R18: Repeat Row 3.
R19: Repeat Row 2.
R20: Repeat Row 3, do NOT turn.

Border: ch1, sc in same stitch. Working down the side, work sc evenly to end. Ch1. Working across top, sc in each st of beginning chain, ch 1. Sc in same st, sc even down third side, ch1. Join with sl st to first sc of row 20. Finish off.
